Pop Rock & Adult Contemporary

Which instruments do you primarily play or what is your role in music production?

Synth and Piano are my primary instruments and my roles include arrangement, programming and live production.

Where did you grow up, and who were your early musical influences?

Cape Town RSA and my early influences were the greats such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson etc. and specifically their live bands.

What have been the major turning points and milestones in your career?

There’s been many along the way but performing to 100,000 people at FNB stadium was pretty awesome as well as opening for Counting Crows in Holland. Getting to perform with Johnny Clegg just months before he passed away is something that’s extremely special to me.

Why do you choose to represent Roland as a brand?

They make the best gear for live performance. Very updateable with long lifespans and always ahead in terms of the technological side. Also, they actually listen to their customers 🙂
